Blanck, however, poses the question: "Query: Also bound with the Houghton, Osgood & Company spine imprint?" This copy fairly answers that question. The cloth color is a rust, or terra-cotta; other copies were bound in purple or green, without priority. BAL 10530; Edel A2 Original rust-brown, terra-cotta cloth with blind stamped borders to covers and gilt titles on spine, some minor rubbing at edges, slight dampstaining to front and light dust soiling, foxing on endpapers and light dampstaining on bottom pastedown, else a very good copy of the author's scarce second book First Edition, (presumed) later state of the binding.
