The binding is solid. The contents are bright and clean. --- From the American First Editions collection of Donald C. Scriven (1948-2019). Don relished points of issue and the primacy of the dust jacket but above all he loved the literature!

Scribner "A" present. 5 3/4 x 8 1/2 Book; binding tight with small damp stain to bottom spine, straight boards have soft corners with moderate soiling to rear; text block firm with mild soiling to top edge and moderate brown damp stain to mostly top and fore edges last 58 pages; heavy damp staining to two interior pages, 2" crease with 1" closed tear top corner one page and 1" wrinkle top corner to another page. Ex-library dust jacket ($5.95) has minor bumping to mostly spine and flap fold ends with slight fading to spine, mild faint 1/4" blue band to top and bottom flaps and rear cover with front flap trimmed going through the 9 of the 5.95 price. Color sharp to covers. Under archival quality mylar cover. Photos upon request. Packed well and shipped in a sturdy box.
