Description: 217pp. 1971. First edition. 8vo. A very good, clean, tight copy in like jacket. This copy has G.P. Putnam's Sons, New York to the tail of the title page but it also has the mention of Berkley Medallion Books to the copyright page (G.P. Putnam first) which is relevant because it has 'Berkley' to the tail of the jacket and not Putnam. The jacket has been illustrated by Vincent Di Fate - it has around 9 bodies drifting into space from a tower which rises from the sea and is predominantly blue. No inscriptions. A very good, clean, tight copy in similar jacket. The leading and lower fore-edge rough-cut. A bump to the tail of the spine with some associated rubbing to the overlying jacket. A light or slight bump to the tail of the front board. The jacket has been price-clipped. There is slight rubbing to a couple of corners, some rubbing to the head of the spine and a short closed tear to the head of the rear panel. The jacket now in a fully revesible, transparent, protective sleeve. A very good, clean tight copy.
