Description: Book looks almost new. Green cover with dark green print. On front endpaper is printed "Your trail and mine cross in mutual love of the Great West. Sincerely and (signed) Zane Grey" signed in ink on free endpaper. There looks to be a former owners name that was erased on a blank endpaper. Very faint evidence. This is the Grosset and Dunlap editon printed by arrangement with Harper. The dust is price clipped, and has minor chips at top and bottom of spine and corners. Dust is now in brodart archival cover. Condition is collector quality just not a first edition. Book looks like it was not handled much or perhaps may have never been read. Scarce if not rare in this condition. Dust has crease marks around edges and chips to bottom of dust in the spine area. Dust now in Brodart mylar protective cover. G.W. Gage the artist/ illustrator was born in 1887 and died in 1957.
