Description: First edition, complete with the 3 maps and photographic plates. Slightly later Bicker's and Son binding from Highgate School, lightly sunned on spine but overall near fine. An interesting association copy, a Geography Prize Plate dated 1937 for a 14 year old Joss Lynam who would go on to become Ireland's most well know mountaineer and explorer, possibly inspired by this volume, by another famous 20th century explorer.
