Description: Publication in clamshell box with the hardcover book and a portfolio of ephemera which contains 24 items. Also included is the prospectus and the Bird & Bull book token still in the plastic sleeve, Slight musty smell overall. The box has a few white spots on the side cover. The red leather label on the spine looks very good. Slight crease on the prospectus at the bottom. The portfolio is in nice condition with the contents looking to have little, if any, wear. Leather back boards of the book show maybe a little spine tip wear. 103 pages. The inside pages look unmarked. Number 243 of 300 copies.

Heaney with a foreword and commentary by Henry Morris and includes samples of works from the press printed on various European mould-made papers. Book bound by Barbara Blumenthal in 1/4 gray leather over paper-covered boards stamped with their press emblem on the corner of the upper board, red leather spine label gilt. The inserted papers are in a matching chemise and laid in is a trade token similar to those used in the 17th to the 19th centuries in England by booksellers. All nicely housed within a gray cloth clamshell, red leather spine label gilt. A fine production.
