Light tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Water staining to both boards.

Upper cover cloth lightly discolored and soiled, corners bumped with very brief exposure, spine toned, else a Very Good copy, internally clean and sound. Collected reports compiled by H. Rider Haggard as Commissioner of inspections of the Salvation Army's agricultural and industrial establishments in the United States and England. Unfortunately, while the notes on Haggard's conversations with President Theodore Roosevelt are mentioned in the table of contents, they were not included in the text itself.
