Description: 10 VOLUME SET ALTHOUGH 3 OF THE VOLUMES ARE SLIGHTLY SMALLER BUT IN THE SAME BINDING, bound in dark blue half calf which has faded to greenish-blue on the spines, maroon boards , spines with raised bands, gilt decoration in the panels, title lable inset in green and maroon with gilt lettering, all edges marbled, illustrated. The works are George Eliot. Adam Bede; The Mill on the Floss; Silas Marner; Scenes of Clerical Life; Felix Holt; Romola; Middlemarch; Daniel Deronda, the Spanish Gypsy, the Legend of Jubal & Impressions of Theophrastus Such. The last 3 titles are the ones in a slightly smaller format, and are not the Stereotyped Edition.
