Description: Copyright pages vary from 1902 - 1915, but these are a matched set in burgundy cloth, gilt decoration, titles, and top edge. All books are slightly sunned on spine but otherwise clean and unmarked with bright probably unread pages (some pages are uncut). An average of three illustrations per volume except for vol. 23 "with Dickens and Thackeray in London" having 15 charcoal drawings by the author. Two volumes have very slightly shaken front hinges, but otherwise all are tight and square.
