Contemporary boards with half-leather and marbled paper, covers show heavy wear and tear, edgewear and rubbing, cracked joints and detached boards and spines, some warping and staining, some erosion. Pages are lightly tanned with minor scattered foxing, heavy tidemarks to several pages of the second volume. This antiquarian set of 3 volumes is a good candidate for rebinding and reading, but need some work to be displayed nicely on a shelf, or could also be used for breaking the engraved plates out of the books for framing.
