Brown marbled paper-covered boards with a blue cloth spine titled in gilt (the publisher's same binding as the first issue). Clean text; 364 pages, with four pages of publisher's adverts in the rear (containing Haggard's "She," "Jess," and "King Solomon's Mines" - which were published 1885-1887). Neat contemporary signature on the FFEP. Mildly toned. A solid copy; the only defect is rubbing to all margins. Despite this, the book presents very nicely. In an archival plastic protector. Later Printing. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
