Description: Not ex-library. Illustrated by Maurice Sendak. Translated from the French by Norman Denny. Very clean and tight, no markings. Red endpapers. Pictorial cloth binding has the Harper Crest, Library Edition lettering identity rectangle on rear board, but this is not an ex-library book, and the cover illustration was used on this edition binding only. This is the same image that is on the DJ. DJ flap has blank upper corner, lower corner is clipped. DJ front has the gilt Harper Crest label tipped-on. Book and DJ both in fine condition.
