Dust jacket has moderate tanning, three tears 0.5-1.25 inches, loss on the spine ends, and toning on the spine. Price shows $1.00. Dust jacket is in a new protective Brodart cover. Boards are in very good condition. Light rubbing on the board corners and spine ends. Pastedown is in excellent condition with no wear. Spine is tight. Pages are clean, but have mild tanning and an inscription on the first free end page. No tears, bends, or stains. No funky odors.

Description: Second printing (originally published in 1939), very good in a very good dust jacket. Small (4 3/4" high by 4" wide) book with color illustrations on every page. Green cloth with small white spots, with red title outlined in red on the front board. The jacket, which still has $.75 price on flap, has some rubbing and slight loss on the spine (some of the black letters are partially obscured). There are also tiny holes at the flap folds, and a slight dampstain is evident on the inside of the front panel. The interior of the book is very nice, with no names or other markings, and just some minor darkening on the pastedowns, probably from binder's glue. A pretty nice copy of a scarce book.
