Description: VG- second impression of a collection of short stories, mostly set in Scotland and many with a supernatural element. Exactly the same as the first impression (Blanchard A13) but for the words "second impression" on the title page. 334pp + 32pp publisher's catalogue. Blue cloth with white lettering and a black, white and red illustration on the front; outer and lower edges uncut. Spine sunned and lettering on front partially worn. Spine ends rubbed. Deep scratch on rear board. Binding firm although the front hinge is cracked. Internally very good with just very occasional light foxing and browned endpapers.
