Sadleir: "First English Edition: It is impossible for a collector to ignore Harper's unauthorized edition.so greatly did it predate the English edition. (1862) But Smith, Elder's edition naturally ranks as a Trollope item (and in any event, contains illustrations not issued in any other edition)."
