Description: A collection of fifteen short stories of fantasy and science fiction. These tales were originally published in weekly of monthly periodicals. This volume contains the thirty two pages of advertisements at the end indicating it's first edition status. Original blue cloth boards with gilt lettering and decoration on the front and spine. Bumped corners and spine ends. Very mild wear on the pine edges. Spotting to the page edges. Armorial bookplate of John Snead Cox, Lord of the Manor of Broxwood, Broxwood Court in Hertfordshire. and editor of The Tablet. The contents are generally clean , marks on page 14-15. Page 44-45 having a light offsetting in the hinge gutter from a pressed flower. 2cm tear on the lower edge of page 63 and on edge of page 5.
