Description: The book is ex-libris and has been previously rebound by library. It is quite heavily cocked. The original dust-jacket with 4.95 price is in good condition but a bit moistury. The book has a small tear low down on spine of binding and a few ex-libris print on print-page as seen. It has some marks from previously having attached the jacket i believe although the jacket doesnt have these just some small browning up high on inner-part of jacket. Some stains internally and wear but most pages good. A rare first edition

Description: First edition, first impression - the scarce UK first of King's third novel. Very Good: firm and square binding in sharp black boards; bright gilt to the backstrip; pushed to the heel of the spine; browned and foxed to the edge of the page block with sporadic spotting internally - New English Library were notorious for using cheap/poor quality paper; otherwise crisp pages free from p/o names or inscriptions. The unclipped dustwrapper (£4.95 net stated) is Good+: bright and unfaded; rubbing, small chips and wear to the extremities; 2.5cm closed tear to the foot of the front panel; some spotting; the striking design (much to be preferred to the US edition) presenting well in a removable, archival-quality Brodart protective cover. All orders are sent carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and sturdy cardboard.

Description: First UK Edition. Very good plus condition in very good unclipped dust jacket. The book is clean and free from any internal markings or inscriptions. The usual toning to pages and some scattered foxing to title pages and edges of text block. The dust jacket shows some signs of wear, with nicks and creases and rubbing to the front of the jacket (see photo). A collectable copy of an increasingly scarce edition.

Fine black cloth with gilt spine lettering, square binding, clean endpapers and pages, toning to the pages as is usual with a few fox spots to the front and top text blocks. The dustjacket is not price-clipped, has a tiny abrasion to top corner and top of spine fold, else looking very near fine. Stephen King's most famous novel, memorably filmed with Jack Nicholson, surprisingly scarce in this first impression.
