Description: Very good plus, first edition book in very good dust jacket. Dark gray paper covered boards with author's facsimile signature stamped in sienna on the front board panel; tan cloth covered spine with sienna lettering. Upper external page edges are cocoa-tinted. Boards are clean. Edges and corners minimally crimped at head and tail of board spine. Light scuffs along upper external page edges. Side and lower external edges are lightly age-toned. Lower fore-edge corner tips are rubbed through. Books is internally clean and text block is sound. Dust jacket is soiled and scuffed overall. All folds are creased, fore-edge folds heavily. Back fore-edge fold is sunned. Upper right front corner has a 2 1/8" closed and open tear along the fold. Head of jacket spine is rubbed and with loss of 3/8" by 1/4" at the back corner and and closed tears of approx. 7/8" on both front and back corners. Shallow horizontal creasing along upper and lower edges of front panel. Lower edge at tail of spine, lower fore-edge corners and upper fore-edge corner of back panel have small rubs with minimal losses. The upper edges of both inside flaps are sunned, and with horizontal creasing and chips. Not price clipped. Please use close-up options for best inspection and in support of condition description.
