A near fine First Edition thus copy in dust wrapper of the "Book Club Edition" with no price. Octavo, in the original tan cloth with purple stamping on the spine and purple edging on the pages. Binding is tight and no markings. The iconic dust jacket cover is bright and has minimal wear. The back of the Book Club Edition is different from the original First Edition but truly an affordable must for any Heinlein collectors. Description: First Edition. Original tan cloth with titles in brown, interesting bookplate on front pastedown with owner's signature on the top of the front free endpaper. In nice original dust jacket with the original price intact on the front flap, with the only flaw being a small chip missing from top of jacket spine. An important Heinlein title in nice condition. All the Doubleday Science Fiction titles from this period are fragile and difficult to obtain in collectible condition.
