Description: First published as an Ace paperback original in 1969 with fifteen stories, followed the same year by a US Sciene Fiction Book Club edition: this 1971 Victor Gollancz first British edition (a Pan paperback followed in 1972) drops one of those stories (''What the Dead Men Say''), See Levack: PKD: A Philip K. Dick Bibliography: Revised Edition (1988) 34c (p.56). Small green bookstore sticker affixed to front pastedown (hidden by front inner flap), page edges a little browned, a VG+ copy in a fairly good price-clipped dustjacket with creasing along bottom edge of front panel , and (more so) to the bottom part of front inner flap, with a 6cm closed tear along bottom of front spine flap fold. First British edition (& 1st edition thus).

Description: First UK edition and first trade hardcover edition. Originally published in the US by Ace as a paperback original in 1969 and then in hard covers in an Ace Book Club edition. Boards have very slight bumps to the top corners but are otherwise clean and unmarked. Browning to the page edges with a small dent to the top edges and a tiny tear at the top left corner of the front free endpaper but the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. The jacket has only very light edge and surface wear. First printing.
