Lettering in gilt on spines. Corners bumped, a few small marks or dents. A few pages uncut. Vol. X frontispiece and title page are detached. First pages usually somewhat thumbed. In general, clean and neat, still a good looking set.

Description: 1837-1838. No edition stated. A beautiful, complete set consisting of 10 volumes which have been bound in full leather with marbled end papers and edges. From the library of George Twycross, whose crest is under the front board of each volume. The boards are rubbed and worn, but remain strong and sturdy. Internally, there is age-related tanning throughout, but the pages remain neat and complete across all volumes. The bindings are secure. A handsome set indeed!
