Top edge gilt. Boards very grubby, Wear and tear to spine. Heavy foxing to title page and frontis. No inscriptions. A fairly dreadful copy but one that is just worthwhile.

Early bookplate and pencil signature of Alexander Kay Muir on front endpapers, with a few light pencil notes in the text, a few pages have a slight crease at one corner, else a fine, bright copy in the exceedingly scarce near fine dust jacket with design by Aubrey Beardsley reproducing the design on the front cover, has a tiny chip at crown of spine and slight tanning on the spine. An exceptional copy, rare in jacket.
