Page 295/6 shows a crease and one inch closed tear from outside edge not affecting any text. Volume remains tight and is otherwise very clean.

Condition: Clean covers; some very light soiling on the spine; tiny cloth tears at the bottom 2 corner tips; small cloth tears at the bottom of the spine. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Clean text pages with only a very light ink smudge to a few random pages; there are some tiny stain spots along the gutter between the front and rear end papers and pastedowns. Overall the book is in very good condition.

This edition is the revised edition by Charles Camp adding some 75 titles to the original Wagner list. The listing of overland narratives was 428 titles in this edition. It has gone through two more editions: another by Charles L. Camp and a completely revised edition by Robert Becker in 1982. Usually this edition is worn from use, but this is a very good clean copy.
