Good, contents about VG. *Novel set in America and the town with the same name. Written in collaboration with his brother-in-law. This relationship ended in a street altercation with Kipling being assaulted by the fiery young Ballestier, this resulted in Kipling coming back to England and selling his home called Naulakha in upper New York. Strangely, the house correctly spelled, as opposed to this work which was left unchanged even in later printings? Scarce title by the enigmatic Mr Kipling who's works are fare better than the cakes!
