Book is tight and clean. Binding and hinges are strong and sound. Copper colored boards are quarter bound with cream cloth binding. Book is essentially fine with only flaw being a faint trace of an erased pencil gift inscription on upper flyleaf, which is the page after the illustrated front free endpaper, prior to the half-title page. The original DJ includes publisher's $15.95 price intact on flap. DJ's only flaw is shelf-rubbing at crown edge; otherwise about fine.
