Description: 1st Impression. 12.7 x 19cm green cloth with yellow stamped vignette to the front and titles to the front and spine 170pp, including 10 full page black and white illustrations. With original clipped dust jacket. Generally bright boards with a hint of fading to the spine tips echoing loss to the jacket and a little pushing to the corners and shelf wear along the bottom edge. Internally pretty clean with only an ownership name on both the front paste down and a gift inscription dated 12th August 1944 on the front free endpaper. The dust jacket is good plus condition slightly grubby with losses of 2mm - 1.5 cm to both the head and foot of the spine, minor loss to the corners and a little chipping and creasing along the top and bottom edges, closed tears of 0.5 to 2.5 cm extending along the fore edge from the corners.
