Condition: Very Good

Description: 12mo, 49 pages, full vellum, yapp edges, rubbed. Helen Marguerite O'Kane designed these Morrisian woodcut decorations and designs. She has deftly hand-colored these woodcuts. O'Kane and her husband, Clarke Conwell, started the press. Bi-color printing and hand-colored designs. The size of this edition, 120 copies, ties it for the smallest edition of Elston Press books, of which this is the 19th of only 20. NOTE: throughout this work, including the headlines, there is always an "s" at the end of Psyches. Ransom, p.261, and American Book Prices Current list it without the final "s". Also, this is the deluxe binding: most copies appear in boards.
