Description: First edition. 10 pp. of preliminaries, including dedication by Fielding, + 88 pp. Fine copy, some running heads a trifle shaved, in a Riviere binding, all edges gilt, gilt dentelles, richly decorated six-panel spine, the boards are done more simply, in a kind of Cobden-Sanderson style. The front board has been professionally rehinged.
