Waldo, 1795, 229 pp plus a New Simile, tree calf leather, 7 x 4.5”, 12mo. In good condition. Ex-library of Chaplin Pastoral Library. Light wear to extremities with lovely tree calf binding. Moderate wear to corners with light scuffing at head and tail of spine. Light creasing at joints. Leather remains rich in color and soft. Old hand ownership of Samuel Lyman 1812 on front fly leaf. Lacks last leaf. Interior lightly toned with minimal foxing. Free of known marginalia. Binding tight and intact. Great printer’s devices. Please see photos. Third American edition. Preceded in America only by editions of 1793 and 1794. A handsome copy!
