Blue coloured cloth covered boards with black coloured titles to the back strip. Plaintext dustwrapper with blue coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. The complete text of the series of radio plays, written by Dorothy L. Sayers on the life of Jesus Christ. Softening and rubbing of the back strip edges with a little bumping to the top edge of the front panel and of the book corners. Some rubbing of the book corners and of the lower book edges stop some faint marks to the book panels with uniform tanning of the text block edges and pages. Offset tanning to the end pages with gift inscription to the free front end page. Chipping of the dustwrapper corners and of the back strip edges. Creasing of the dustwrapper edges and the top edge of the front panel has a small tear and the lower left-hand corner of the lower edge of the same panel has a 1.25" tear, with associated creasing. Rubbing of the holdover creases, sunning of the back strip  which also shows original bookseller's sticker  and some handling marks also present. A previous owner has supported the back strip region and some of the book corners with paper  the paper is still attached. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Apart from foxing to outer edges of pages and a single bookworm hole at the back, the book is in very good condition. Dust wrapper is good with small tear at bottom corner and top of spine.
