Copyright page states 1919, but may be a later printing, possibly from ca. 1928 [with Harper code 'E-C']. ; B&W Photographs; 6 1/2 x 9 1/2; 267 pages; Hardcover has extensive damp staining, shelf wear, bumping, fraying, sunning. Inscription on front end paper; an owner's name written inside front cover. Original book store sticker, from Santa Monica, CA, on bottom of front end paper. Pages show some faint brown foxing.

Description: Though the spine is a little bit faded, the book is mostly dark blue in color. In yellow on the cover and the spine are the title and author. A zig-zag pattern is also on the front cover. The top and bottom of the spine are a tad frayed. All of the end papers are decorated with illustrations of a man and woman tending to and/or riding horses. There are a couple of dirty spots on a few pages and a water spot on another few pages. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall

Description: 56 pp, brown toned photographs, the book and contents are solid and tight, the pages are clean, although an approximately 1/4" x 1/2" triangular shaped spot on the edge of the title page has pulled off the frontis of Zane Grey, leaving a small spot, the covers are tight and have light soil and some light edge wear, there is a library stamp on the lower left front corner, a very solid and usable booklet.
