Description: A beautiful copy of Maugham's second book. The first American edition. The book has very light shelf wear, light yellowing of pages. If not for scant foxing, this would be fine. Considering the age of the dust jacket we would grade this fine; however we will be conservative on this one. Very light edge wear. Very tiny chips at top and bottom spine and a small closed tear at top back. Gilt lettering slightly faded. All in all this is in excellent condition. Time Tested Books has been located in the same place and owned by the same people for over 20 years. We have an excellent rep.
