Spine neatly mended with matching bk-tape. Illustrated board edges almost completely worn through. Some soil to boards. Some soil to pages, at least two illustrations hand color. One page has neat crayon mark. Hinges appear fragile. Sewn binding is intact but fragile. In Plastic.

Shows shelf rubbing of the edges with marginal loss, spine with some small chips of the paper covering, former owner name on the 'this book belongs to' page dated 1916, ever so slightly over-opened in two places, otherwise the binding is strong and tight, the text and illustrations remain clean and unmarked, and the boards remain bright, colorful, and distinct. As pictured.
