Brown boards with gold lettering to spine are very good with minor pushing/bumping to corners, the odd small mark, crease to spine (book has been read), odd minor scratch, odd small bump/rub to edges and minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Little spine lean. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Pages are a bit tanned. Previous owner's name in pen to front end-paper. Occasional small mark/minor foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. Occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.

Description: Chocolate brown cloth covered boards with a gilt stamped title on the spine. The boards are bright and clean with only a couple of slight marks. Spine lean. The top of the page edges are dusty and there is light foxing to the top edges and fore edges. Light foxing to the title page and to a few pages throughout the book but the pages are otherwise unmarked. The jacket has a very browned spine which has a two inch piece missing at the base. Chipping at the top which has been repaired with tape. Chipping to the corners which have quite a bit of discolouration. First printing. From the collection of Victor Skipp.
