Description: Published in 1890, this is an early English Victorian edition of this Jules Verne adventure set in Norway, bound in pictorial cloth covers, a slim format edition illustrated with six full page illustrations, in one of so named Pears Soap editions, because of the advert on the rear cover, 7.25 inches tall approx. the cloth has slightly darkened with some corner and edge bumps, light rubbing wear and minor marks, internally endpapers noticeably browned, some cracking to joints, a few mild marks and creased corners within else contents in nice condition.
