Description: London: Martin Secker, 1924. Limited edition (#118/200), signed by author on colophon page, Fair/. Book has an almost completely loose spine (split on rear fold halfway down, split completely down on front fold), paper spine label still attached but somewhat worn, corners somewhat worn & frayed, some wear to both panels, slight color fade to spine (interior very nice). Machen was a great wanderer, both in cities and especially in the countryside. Quite rare, will consider lower offers. Always a joy to read. 142 pp.

Description: This volume is the third, and final, portion of Machen's autobiography. Around the time this volume was published, Machen's work was experiencing a resurgence and newfound popularity in the US. 142 pp. Blue cloth boards, paper title pastedown to spine. Limited to 200 copies, Machen's signature on limitation page, printed on "large paper", rough cut pages, two pages of advertisements for other publications from Secker in rear. Condition: Spine and edges of covers are faded, paper title to spine is lightly rubbed but intact, corners are bumped and rubbed. Numbered 52 of 200, Machen's signature bright and intact, ex-libris stickers from two different owners on front paste-down and free endpapers, offsetting from stickers, binding is strong, text is vibrant. A good, tight copy of this scarce signed volume.
