Publisher's original brown cloth, gilt lettered to spines, light edge-wear to all three volumes, a bit rubbed to head & tails, gilt lettering a touch faded but clearly visible, slight sign of cracking to lower front hinge of each volume, bindings however still perfectly sound, each protected in a mylar sleeve, housed in a quarter brown morocco custom-made solander box (by the Lakeside Press of Chicago), this replicating three leather spines gilt, top joint has split over time due to the weight of the contents, this could be professionally repaired, in all a handsome three-decker set of one of Barrie's early novels in original state, from the library of the American writer Munson Aldrich Havens and his wife Betty, with their joint bookplate to the front paste-down of each volume. A 4-sided ALS tipped-in to the title of the first volume, 2 sides written in Barrie's hand in ink from 133 Gloucester Road, and dated 3 Jan 1897, to the American author W. H.
