Minor moisture stain visible on the front board and top edge of the text block, but hardly affecting the interior contents. Price clipped jacket shows evidence of the same moisture stain and is rubbed and chipped. Book and jacket are both in good condition.

Description: - Octavo, 7-1/2 inches high by 5 inches wide. Hardcover, pictorial boards featuring an illustration by Gorey, titled in black on the front cover and on the spine. The book is laid into a matching price-clipped dust wrapper with a self-portrait by Gorey on the rear panel. The corners and head and tail of the book's spine are rubbed. There are a couple of tiny tears to the top edge of the dust jacket with minor rubbing to the folds. The top of the jacket's inner flaps are darkened. Unpaginated, with sixty limericks each with a black & white illustration by Edward Gorey. Very good. First edition, so stated. [Toledano A2a]. The second book by Edward Gorey.
