Scott Fitzgerald, with an introduction by Charles Scribner III. The book is illustrated with fourteen color gouaches by Fred Meyer. The text has been composed in eleven-point Monotype Bell, with five points of leading; the headings are in Bauer Bodoni italicx. The composition and printing of the text were performed at The Stinehour Press in Lunenburg, Vermont. The reproductive plates for the illustrations were made by Rainbows, Inc., of Hazardvill, Connecticut, and printed by The Meriden Gravure Company, in Meriden, Connecticut The page size is 6 3/4 x 8 5/8 inches, and there are 224 pages. The paper is a soft-white stock with an eggshell finish, specially made for this edition at the Mohawk mill in Cohoes, New York. The book has been bound at the Stinehour Press in full gray buckram, stamped with a design created by Deborah M. Evetts. Limited to 2000 copies this is copy #1175 signed by the artist. Slipcase is in very good condition. Very clean inside. A beautiful edition.
