Gilt to spines and top edges gilt. No jackets. Fifteen copper engravings by J. E. Laboureur. Printed by Robert & Moira Gibbings at the GC Press. Laurence Sterne's marvellously entertaining book in a very nice edition. All three volumes in uniform condition. They each have a bookplate to the front paste down for Hereford City Library Reference Department and acquisition stamps to versos of title pages. Also Dewey reference numbers to foot of spines. As the books were from the Reference Department of the library, they have not suffered the indignities often inflicted on lending stock. Some colour fade to spines (Vol. II being most affected). Some light rubbing and soiling. Corners relatively free of anything other than very minor bumping. All three volumes very clean and bright internally.
