Re-bound by library. 8vo half leather bound. Boards are also bound in a marbeled design. Leather is very worn and peeling away on corners and spine. Some of the marbled design is peeling on both boards too. Gilt lettering on spine. Ridges on spine and gilt decoration on top of each ridge. Top of page edges are a dark brown colour, the rest of page edges are red speckled. Picture page with signature underneath. Some foxing throughout. All correspondence Lamb left behind, plus a memoir of Lamb by a friend and contemporary. Extremely scarce.

Very attractive contemporary half tan calf, marbled boards, spines gilt in compartments and with black and crimson lettering pieces. Foxing to prelims and portraits, the body of the text however unaffected. Gilt to spines dulled however still very pleasing and in excelent condition.
