In the two color photo illustrated dust jacket with price $6.00 intact on the front flap: edges moderately rubbed and crimped, closed tears to the front head edge and back flap, spine ends lightly chipped. Withal, the book presents well. Mary Hunter Austin's 1903 classic collection of essays on the Sierra-Mojave landscape and inhabitants, augmented with photos it inspired Adams to compose, with his notes.
