Dust Jacket - is a facsimile jacket and has a nearly unnoticable wrinkle at the head and tail of the spine, but is otherwise clean, bright, and sharp. An attractive copy. Description: A stated 1st edition (bright & sharp blue cloth w/red lettering) of one Burroughs' earliest independent novels that was not published in book form until the late 1930s. The DJ illustration and 5 interior plates are by Burroughs' son - John Coleman Burroughs. Bright and sharp 1st state laminated DJ ($2.00 price intact on the front flap) however there is internal tape reinforcement at the top of the spine and inside the front flap fold that have stained the exterior. The book is clean & crisp. A particularly nice copy of a hard to find ERB, Inc 1st.
