Description: 4 ½ in. x 6 ¼ in. Second issue. Pictorial front cover, dark blue rear panel. Both black and white and color illustrations. The paper over the hinges is torn, and there are chips to the paper over most of the margins. The paper has browned over the years. Some pages have stains, and a few have small tears. There is a fair-to-middling chip to the rear free end-paper. The covers appear to have been pasted to the endpapers. This book was probably carried by a soldier as he performed his duties and no doubt read in the quiet hours.
