Description: 347pp. Octavo [23.5 cm] Yellow and blue moire cloth covered boards. Publisher's review label on the front pastedown. Very good. Mild bumping and rubbing to the extremities. The endsheets are darkened and a little discolored. The pages are tanned. The dust jacket is in good only condition, with age-toning and a layer of general mild soiling and rubbing. The edges have numerous closed tears and small losses. Not price clipped. From the dust jacket- "Forgive Us Our Virtues is an attempt to show, in several cross-sections of American life, how under- or over-motivated persons evade their real problem, and reconcile themselves with their self-esteem by assuming virtues which they do not possess. Description: Good condition only. Ex-library faint label remainder marks on the bottom of the spine, with ink discard stamp inside the back cover. Shelf wear to the binding and rubbing to the front cover, spine and corners. Some of the text pages near the front of the book have some rippling at the top from water contact. The binding is tight. Still a good reference copy in solid structural condition. This is the scarce 1938 first printing of this W.P.A. Idaho history. Noted Idaho historian Vardis Fisher was the state director for this history.; 452 pages
