One in an edition limited to 400 copies. From the text- "The aims of The Book Club of California were, as they still are, to encourage fine printing in California and to further 'the study of letters and the promotion of the arts pertaining to the production of books'-. Lectures were to be given, exhibitions held, and books were to be published. There was to be no initiation fee and the annual dues were to be ten dollars- a sum, incidentally, that was not increased until 1947."
