Description: A later printing of the first American edition, in the same month as the first printing (Septempber, 1928). A sound copy, but with what appear to be mold-bleached spots (now cleaned) to the rose colored cloth covers, with Christopher Robin and Tigger in gilt. Light wear to spine ends. Dust jacket, illustrated by Shepard is foxed, and has some small chips and a one-inch loss to spine.

Description: pp. xi, [2], 2-178, [1]. 12mo. First Edition, Fifty-first Printing of the American edition. Illustrated. Illustrated end papers. In the attractive, original publisher's gilt embossed cloth binding, now protected in mylar. Slight edge and corner wear and slightly darkened spine. All edges gilt. Illustrated end papers have the very slightest of a few fox spots, otherwise the pages are very clean, no marks or former owner's names. A handsome little book.

Description: No date on the title page. Copyright page dated 1928. Stated First Edition. Hardcover, bound in light red/pink cloth, with gold lettering on the spine and cover, with gold decoration of Tigger and Christopher Robin on the front cover, and Pooh on the spine. Binding good and tight. There are two smudges on the front cover which I have not tried to clean off. Spine is faded half a tone lighter than the boards. Page edges (all three - top bottom and outer) heavily gilt). Pictorial endpapers. 178 pages. This is the 2nd book of stories about Winnie the Pooh and his friends. Tigger is first introduced in this book. This is a First Printing of the First edition. I have added a Facsimile Dust-Jacket, identical to the one that this book would have had when it was new. Description: 20 cm; 178, [2] pages, illustrated with pen-and-ink drawings by Shepard throughout. In salmon cloth ruled in gilt, with gilt-stamped image of Christopher Robin and Tigger on upper board, and Pooh on the spine. All edges gilt. This copy numbered 101 and signed. Justification page reads "This edition on Large Paper published in 1928, is limited to 250 numbered and signed copies." The words "on Large Paper" have been blacked out. No dust jacket. Some very light fading of the cloth on the spine, and minor shelf wear on the bottom edge and at spine ends. Overall an excellent copy. First American edition, limited to 250 copies and signed by Milne and Shepard.
