Description: [Drama] FIRST EDITION. Octavo (19 x 13cm), pp.104. Publisher's pink cloth, blue titles to spine. With the typographic dust-jacket priced at 5s to front flap. Interior mostly clean, some spotting and offsetting to preliminaries and rear few leaves. Jacket toned, marked, and spotted. Bumping to spine ends, wear to jacket spine extremities. Very good. A play which deeply examines life as it was right before the outbreak of World War II, critiquing contemporary political parties and western values. The play was never performed, some attributing its un-performability to Woolf being theatrically ahead of his time.
