First edition, 1720, in worn contemporary calf, gilt edge tooling, corners bumped, joints cracked, bands holding. Spine, raised bands, worn gilt tooling, lacking the title label. Internally, portrait frontis, [16], 381 pp, [1] adverts, 1 pl (frontis), ink name to fep (Catherine Williams), some hipping to edge of fep & frontis, small area of very light staining to first few leaf margins, text block edges sprinkled red. (192*117 mm). (ESTC T 53951).

Wilford, 1720, in-8, de frontispice, XVI, 381, (1) pp., plein veau anglais de l'époque, dos à cinq nerfs, d'une pièce de titre en maroquin rouge, Édition originale. Signé sur la page de titre par James Abercromby, peut-être le même homme décrit par ODNB comme "corpulent, lethargic, and unambitious", néanmoins, même avec ces attributs, il était commandant en second de l'armée de Grande-Bretagne en Amérique du Nord pendant La guerre de Sept Ans, il devint général en 1772. Petite fente en marge du frontispice, sinon bel état.
