The first book edition and the first under this title (the work was seralized in 1904 under the title "The Garden of Avallaunius"). This is essentially a reading copy, cloth split at the front gutter and starring at the top of the rear gutter, wear about the egdes of the boards and some rubbing to the boards themselves. Two old gift inscr. on the front pastedown, two leaves roughhly opened. SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS.
